“There are landscapes that do not reflect the sky… they reflect the soul of those who behold them.”
Over Gatún, the afternoon was falling asleep
wrapped in crimsons and reflections,
while the water, a mirror of ancient
silences of the universe, shimmered.
The blue moon gently descended
over vast and intricate horizons,
leaving among the bewildered trees
an echo of nostalgia and poetry.
The hills floated slowly
like shadows painted by the wind,
brushing the motionless, silent lake.
And the tree, sentinel of the moment,
kept within its transparent form
eternity suspended in time.
It was not a landscape… it was the memory
of a tropical dream beneath the aurora,
an ancient and seductive prayer
born between silence and triumph.
It was Panama speaking with the sky,
the lake breathing sleeping light,
the night slowly unraveling life
over an immense mirror without consolation.
