"Darkness does not fear the predator; it recognizes it as its king."
In the black silence of the night,
a god covered in mystery awakens;
his eyes are abysses and captivity,
his skin an ancient map beneath the clasp.
The leopard does not roar before the shadow,
for he was born from the womb of darkness;
he carries in his blood a taciturn pact
and in each step time itself is astonished.
The moon spills into his gaze
like a blue crystal among darkness,
where death lies hidden and waiting.
His face emerges intact through the mist,
half shadow, half flame,
like an ancestral king upon the jungle.
The spots on his skin are scars
of centuries consumed by night;
they are invisible signs of excess
from forgotten and sorrowful gods.
And yet he remains silent,
watching man from the twilight,
as one who knows how far the soul rises
before becoming monstrous.
There is no cage capable of containing him,
nor darkness able to devour him;
for all that tries to imprison him
inevitably ends up fearing him.
