“Only those who have conversed with the shadows understand the true color of light.”
In black eternity the plumage sleeps,
like an ancient secret among ashes;
the night preserves blues and smiles
that the soul forgot along its journey.
That bird does not sing for landscapes,
nor does it seek the sun behind cornices;
its eyes are two humble lamps
watching man broken beneath his suit.
There is gold within the silence of its neck,
and a green that feels like spring
slowly being born from grief.
The shadow protects it from haste,
from the noise of voices and the marketplace;
from a world that has sold the sacred
for a brief mask of laughter.
And there it remains, still, suspended,
like an oracle of deep blue;
reminding man and his world
that art is born where everything has burned.
Then silence becomes flame,
and the bird is no longer a bird: it is the invisible;
an immortal, indivisible radiance
that eternally calls within Ars in Umbra.
